It is Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

Actually, let's face it, it is Christmas. December 23rd to be exact. How we got to this place, I am not exactly sure, but the hours until Santa's arrival are quickly fading away.

The Three Bay B Chicks are in bad shape, friends. The gifts are not wrapped, the grocery shopping is not done, and, if we were to be really honest, our homes still aren't quite decorated. (I knew my family was in bad shape with the adopt-a-family coordinators called the house yesterday and asked when we would be dropping off our donation.)

After doing a bit of mental math this morning, that is 24 hours divided by an infinite number of tasks, we came to the conclusion that in the name of survival, we must bid our blog adieu for a few more days. Rest assured, though, that we will return to the blogosphere, in all of our commeting and posting glory, on Friday, December 26th.

Until that time, we wish all of our bloggy friends, both near and far, a wonderful and peaceful holiday. Enjoy your time with family and friends.

We'll see you on the other side!

I feel your pain. I sent Sven to the grocery store last night, he put up the tree yesterday, which means today I must do all last-minute shopping and all of the gift-wrapping, my least favorite task of all...

See you on the 26th!

Friends, do not despair...you are not alone. I was doing the same math in my head (wrapping? baking? cleaning? more baking? NOOOOOOOO!) I don't know how it's going to get done. And, please tell me, WHY ARE MY CHILDREN UP AT 5:30??? There. I feel so much better.

Merry Christmas to you all...see you in few days!

Decorated house, check. Wrapped presents, check. Groceries, check. Three naughty, naughty, hyper-excited and over-stimulated children, check. Clean house?? NOOOOO WAAAAAYYY!! Passive-Aggressive overly critical Southern mother to arrive within 24 hours??? BIG, BIG check!!
