Question: What do you get when you cross a child’s play kitchen and Emi Grace?
Answer: A play kitchen with broken oven and microwave doors within hours of being assembled!
The Grandparents bought Miss Emi a kitchen for Valentine’s Day. She loved it so much that she literally snapped the doors off (or leaned on them ever so lightly!).
Moral: Don’t let your 16-month-old daughter, who has an aggressive penchant for remodeling and who is stronger than the average 5-year-old, play with something built for a 3-year-old.
Question: What do Nacho Libre & Emi Grace have in common?
Answer: They both love stretchy pants and wear them well!
We now only buy Emi stretchy pants. They are not always the most fashionable, but the buttons don’t usually pop off either.

Disclaimer: Emi's hair stylist was out of town the day the above photo was taken. I take no responsibility for the thing coming out of the top of her head.

OMG she's too cute! My 16 month old is the same way except he beats me up by slapping me and then laughing at me and boy is he strong! Check out my new post it funny!
My wish for Emi Grace is that she will always be able to pull off stretchy pants that well! Too cute! :)
Adorable. Stretchy away Emi Grace. 'Cause one day stretchy will SO not be your friend!
How cute is she!! I LOVE stretchy pants!
I love her pose in the last picture! And that hair is AMAZING! :) CUTE!
She may be a remodeler, but darn is she cute! She is welcome to remodel my place anytime. She *might* just get more done than my hubby!
Love the kitchen! My kids would still love to play w/ something like that..LOL!
Love the stretchy pants, and Nacho Libre!! LOL
Oh, we're all about stretchy pants in my house. When Deb Jr. saw Nacho Libre, she said, "Look, Mommy, Daddy's on the TV!"
I've probably said too much!
They obviously just don't make kitchens the way they used to. Emi is adorable.
Ahaha! The broken everything - now that girl would fit right in at my house with our shattered over door. Monsoon isn't allowed to "dance" with the broom anymore. Love the hair; sticky-uppy-parts are way in.
Stretchy pants are SO much comfortable, too. I wish it was acceptable for non-Nacho grown-ups to wear them. Actually, jeans are a little stretchy now. Which is a good thing.
Awwwwwe...she's too cute!
She's SO cute!
BTW - that is one COOL looking kitchen!
Stretchy pants! I think those should be the only pants available. For everyone. Of course, I'd need to gouge my eyeballs out on occasion, but at least we'd all be comfortable.
Love the stretchy pants and I have a 3 year old son that breaks things that lasted through 2 sisters. Ugh. Must be the age:)
We also only buy stretchy pants around here! For Johnny that translates into sweats... so much easier!
hilarious! I love that you still took a picture of her even though her stylist wasn't able to do her hair. That took great courage.
I applaud you.
CAn we trade. You give me Emi and her broken low-rent kitchen and I'll give you one Golden retriever and a muddy dog bed?
let me know so we can exchange addresses and drop off times!
I just now got Kylie to stop wearing stretchy pants! She is in Kindergarten! I loved Nacho Libre, btw!
It's a shame that we don't live close enough to have playdates, our kids would get along beautifully.
too too too cute!!!
There is nothing cuter than chubby little toddlers in stretchy pants! The only downside is that mom's of older kids have strong urges to pinch those chubby thighs. Fortunately, I can control myself 99% of the time :)
That little kitchen is so cute. I was looking at one similar to that in Target for my baby girl. I'm afraid she may do the same thing as Emi Grace though!
I love her hair!
Cutting sleep out would make blogging so much easier! Oh and I love the hairstyle!
Look at her little round belly. How irresistible she is!
Emi Grace and I look exactly alike in our stretchy pants! They are getting to be the only kind of pants I can wear. I don't care who her hair stylist is, she looks adorable. I also have a problem snapping the doors off of my cupboards. Hmmm we have a lot in common.
P.S. Wenda is still drinking Pepsi at my place. That girl never stops.
Aww, sorry about the kitchen! They should make those things so they can't be broken by little hands.
She's too cute!
Ha! That last pose that Emi is showing off is just too cute! Avery, too, is a stretchy pants girl. She is the only one of the kids that hasn't had to utilize the "adjustable waist" feature inside of jeans. She has a little more junk in the trunk than the boys did!
BTW: can we nail down a date in March for some mommy time?
What a cute little kitchen! Jack Black is such a spaz!!
My one year old looks like she went over to play at your house. She loves taking things apart if she can. Her new thing is to hide anything she can. I open a draw or look in a pan and there is a toy waiting for me. You got to love your children.
The version of Nacho Libre I bought actually was IN little stretchy pants. True story.
My Emma also only wears stretchy pants. Poor baby, her hips are too big for jeans. Hopefully she'll grow out of that!
that is too funny and the last picture is the best
That's hilarious. I feel your pain.. my 18 month old broke his "plastic" Disney cars workbench within 3 days of getting it from Santa. Don't you know... Santa doesn't do returns. Argh.
Emi looks great in stretchy btw. :)
Awww, she looks cute. It's called Pebbles! And I'm so disappointed by yet another young toddler with more hair than my 3 1/2 year old. *sigh*
That is so cute. Well, those play kitchens just aren't made the way they used to be. ;) It's not Emi's fault. What a cute pic at the end. She's adorable!
"When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants. In your room. For fun."
That show has so many good quotes!
Cute Emi could get away with wearing anything, even with that antenna thing she's got growing out of her head! ;o)
Looks like she has Nacho Libre's strength too!
Stretchy pants to the rescue!
Emi is adorable! And, yes, I get it withe kitchen. My daughter did and still can do the same thing.
She was taking her bottle apart at 10 months old (and toys. And Daddy's watch)...don't ask. She's very advanced, shall we say? LOL
hehe very cute!!
I think she is destined to have her own show on HGTV. What a doll! :-)
My daughter has the same kitchen! She love it too.
Your Emi Grace is so cute!
I heart stretchy pants.
The stretchier the better.
HAHAHA!!! I can't believe you compared that adorable little girl to Nacho Libre! Oh dear. Someday she is going to read your blog and then you're gonna be in trouble! ;)
Too funny!
